1960s Salesman Sample Telephones
These are New Old Stock (NOS) rotary dial desk telephone "Salesman Samples" from the 1960s.  They were used as a sales tool to show customers other colors that were available for the Western Electric 500 rotary dial desk telephone.
 
Measures 4 3/8" long x 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" tall.
 
NOTE: These items are for display purposes only, rotary dial does not turn, no handset cord was attached and it does not work.

    late twentieth century.  It traces the development of new technology and

Norman Rockwell painted this picture in 1947 as a promotion for AT&T.   It is        dedicated to the history of the telecommunications industry and measures 17" in

Spirit of Service Print
Out of the blizzard of 1888 came one of the best-known paintings
of the telephone industry, Ernest Hamlin Baker's "The Spirit
of Service."  Angus MacDonald is depicted guarding a section of the
New York-Boston Main Line during the historic storm.  The print
measures 22" in width by 17" in length.                                            $10.00

     Weavers of Speech Print

      T.D. Skidmore originally created this historic image in black and
      white oil.  It first appeared in a Bell System national magazine ad in
      December, 1915.  It was originally titled Spinners of Speech but was
      changed to Weavers of Speech in deference to the obvious tapestry
      effect of the print.  The print measures 22" in width by 17" in length.
